i-cee internship program is designed to inspire creativity. It provides an opportunity for the Undergraduate and Masters students in Engineering to gain real life project work experience.

The project idea and the project execution is driven by the students themselves. Project ideas are posted in our iceeTech facebook page. The project ideas are rated and evaluated by the peers, facebook friends and other students. The best idea with maximum number of votes is chosen for project execution by the students who originally posted it.

The projects may last for 3 to 6 months and therefore we invite students for a period of minimum 3 months.

This is a paid internship program and stipend is paid to the participating candidates to cover their living expenses while working on the project.

Example projects:

Design a Web based system to create a gallary of images contributed by individual users so that others can search and download the images for their use. The application has to be of high quality in terms of esthetics along with the functionality and ease of use (User Interface). You wil be using the LAMP platform with PHP, MySql, AJAX, JQuery for this application

Design and implement an algorithim to intelligently build Keyward tagging and auto suggestion to help users fill in Meta information of their digital assest library. Use PHP, MySql on Linux platform to implement your algorithm.

Design an mpeg-2 codec on an FPGA device (VLSI)

Design a web controlled mobile Robot to transmit realtime video information to the security console (Embedded)

Design a control system with web interface to control lights, fans and other home appliances (Embedded)

Design a software system that can automatically generate and incrementally build a personalized music album by scavenging the web given a specific genre, organize them based on the musician, composer, popularity and other attribute. It should be able to play the music at a click of a button; if not, it should display a reason for not playing it. (Software)
